We will perform maintenance on our Anti-DDoS infrastructure to expand our scrubbing capacity. During this process, new pre-filtering mechanisms will be activated to offload volumetric attack traffic – such as carpet bombs or massive floods targeting individual IPs – before it reaches our DDoS filtering appliances. These changes will be rolled out incrementally.
While no service impact is expected, the complexity of the adjustments may lead to rare edge cases. If you observe issues with specific applications such as packet loss, please do not wait until the maintenance is finished – instead, contact our support team immediately.
Once all changes are deployed, we will sequentially restart the BGP sessions of all DDoS filtering nodes to finalize the maintenance. Existing TCP and UDP sessions will be preserved and synchronized during this step; however, due to the elevated risk involved, we are explicitly announcing it in advance.
This maintenance only applies to IPv4 traffic that is routed through our Anti-DDoS infrastructure and should not cause any impact at all, as pointed out before.
